Introduction of the Department
The Department of Neurology medically examines and treats all the diseases occurring from the central nervous system and it includes the field of stroke, which deals with partial functional dysfunction or consciousness changes in the brain which occurs suddenly due to abnormalities of cerebral blood vessels; the field of epilepsy which deals with career seizure; the field of peripheral nerves and muscular diseases; the field of motor abnormality such as Parkinson’s Disease; the field of dementia dealing with intellectual deterioration resulting from an overall decline in a cerebral function; the field of nervous system infections such as encephalitis or meningitis; and the field of pain and tumors on the nervous system.
